Odd Hours Book Review (Dean Koontz)

 The Odd Hours Book Review

Odd Hours delivers what you'd want from a book in the Odd series. It's very funny. It talks about philosophy. It's a thriller. Koontz is a great writer but this series seems to take the cake for his work up to this point. It's some of my favorite.

Koontz's story lead down a number of unique paths that you can't always plan for. That is very clear in this book. The plot serendipitously pops into some amazing places. It does get a little irritating at times but it's well worth it. This is certainly not bare bones story telling and there are a number of little twists that don't end up meaning anything.

As usual, Odd Thomas shines as a character worth following along on these adventures. Koontz can tell a story in a way that always pulls you in. Despite the occasional frustration with the endings, Koontz provides a story that is well worth your time. It's certainly not a novel you can find anywhere else.

 What did you think?
