Forever Odd Book Review (Dean Koontz)

The Forever Odd Book Review:

This book is worth reading to get to the next in the series but it's not too good for anything else.

Odd gets a new old best friend that he needs to save from some witch wanna be that has a bunch of zombie protectors. Apparently odd needs to enter through the drainage system. That journey is certainly not an interesting half of the book. I won't go too much into the details but the attempts at suspense ends up in the drainage system where it should have been flushed away.

Odd Thomas was an amazing book and this was a drop from cloud 9 all the way down into the cold hard ground. The humor was lacking. The plot was weak. The climax is anticlimactic. The villain ended up being about as scary as an unfamiliar puppy. I loved Odd Thomas and this didn't even come close to living up to it.

What did you think of it?
